Panic (update)

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 10, 2009, 11:08 AM

:heart: :heart: :iconlunadarkgoddess::iconvader-san: :heart: :heart:

I have my Informatics exam today and i'm pooping my panties about it. The past couple of days consisted of codes, math and information theory. My head is ready to burst, so i will be glad when this is all over. I just hope afterwards i'll be happy about the results, cause i have no desire to repeat that crap.
To learn the material i even went that far to calculate my birthday and stuff like that into different numeral systems.

Decimal: 01/12/1989
BCD: 00000001/00010010/0001100110001001
Binary (not BCD): 1/1100/(I'm not gonna calculate the year, cause that would fill most of the screen)
Hexadecimal: 1/C/7C5
Octal: 1/14/3705

WHO NEEDS THIS SHIT!?

To calm myself down i am sitting in my favourite cafe at the moment, having something bittersweet to stroke my nerves.
Also i just installed the Twitter function on my DA userpage, so if you're interested in what i do all day long, have a look right above my journal on the frontpage and be amazed by the amounts of pointless events that fill my day.

P.S.: I hate you DCT. Even if you DO calculate the compression of JPEGs, i fucking HATE YOU!
I am abusing this journal to practise that stuff, so don't take anything seriously, thx.

UPDATE OH YEAH!

So i just returned from the exam. Do you know this feeling when you prepare for something that you know you won't stand through? When you assume that your life ends afterwards?
THAT'S HOW I FEEL. Such exams are like a near death experience for me. Afterwards i can hardly believe i am still there and life goes on. Just a weird feeling. I hate it.

So now i'm going to live on with my life, which will be just a preparation for the next big test D: Great!

Also when i was in the cafe before the test the owner talked to a collegue of mine and me if we could help him with a network problem. We got free drinks for it and on thursday we're gonna be there to help install the system and i hope they give me good food for it....Though a week of free drinks would be nice too. Slowly we're getting to know the whole staff and they like us cause we help them with the tech stuff they have no clue about.

I hope you didn't have to deal with any nervewrecking things today. Have a nice one!

Laaalaalaa ... ledeeedaaaa, I'm not paying attention to maths and its related issues, I had enough of that during my high school.

Good that you're relaxing though, you deserve it.

D'awwww hun :C *pats* I'm dealing with similar stuff in my computer science class, but you're a lot better than me when it comes to academics, I'm sure you'll do fine.

Master Chief is better than Jesus. It doesn't take him three days to respawn.

I forgot how you calculate from decimal to binary, but I know it's pretty intense. Wishing you luck!

A being in the center of the Universe that shares my soul can change into any organism, what can yours do?
I believe in Jesus Christ my Savior. If you do too and aren't scared to admit it then copy and paste this in your signature

Different numeral systems. The only actual positive thing about binary system for a normal human is that he can count to 1023 with both hands (instead of 10). Guess those things are pretty much too abstract for normal thinking. Useful in their part of existence (comps e.g.) but... not very human friendly O.o
Good luck with the shit! ;)

I'm so glad I stopped at pre-calculus on my math education. I don't think I could have gotten as far as you on something like binaries. Just take it slow and easy Vader

I'm going to guess that I've read this journal too late to wish you luck (if not good luck :) ).

How did it go?

:bulletred: Why do people put a link to their galleries here anyway? One little [link] is not going to change the number of people who look at your page...

Uagh... just mentioning math makes my head burst. it was most certainly my worst subject.

Good luck to you man
