yay battleaxes
boo teslahammers
Wicked sweet pic here, Vader! As always, your ability to draw badass raptors continues to astound and amaze me. I see you've continued to use the ripple effect when transitioning between skin colors, which is nice. The weapons are just so sweet! You've taken classic, "beat-em-up" weapons and made them all techinological-ified (not a real word, don't care). The effect is very nice, makes the weapons seem like they'll shoot lasers or plasma or something. One or two points I'd like to say, however. Considering the massive head on your battleaxe, I'd think the hilt and grip should be wider, just so it doesn't seem like the pole will snap right off with it's thinness. Also, I'm no expert on teslahammers, or regular warhammers for that matter, but unless you're going for a more polearm-like feel to the weapon, the insanely long shaft seems overkill on it. I also don't think anyone would have a back-sheath to such a large weapon. Granted, it looks very sweet and badass, but realistically, it would just get in the way. Also, love the outfit, cargo pants are teh roxxors! I so need to get myself a pair of thems.
Words can still not espress how much I love your art! Keep 'em coming!

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
